Does Ulta have an affiliate program? Is it free to join?
Yes, the official Ulta affiliate program can be found on their website.
It is managed by the Impact affiliate network, so you will need an Impact.com account to join before applying for Ulta's individual affiliate program within the network.
It is 100% legit and free to join.
How much does the Ulta affiliate program pay in commission rate?
The Ulta affiliate program pays a 2% commission rate on all qualifying sales. Affiliate links have a 30-day cookie window. This means that if someone clicks your affiliate link and makes a valid purchase within 30-days from click, you will earn a 2% commission on that sale.
What is an Ulta affiliate?
An Ulta affiliate is someone who has been approved into their affiliate program and has the ability to earn commission when referring customers to Ulta.com. Typically, these will be bloggers or influencers in the beauty, fashion, and travel niches.

What are the requirements to get approved as an Ulta affiliate?
You will first need to apply to the Impact Radius affiliate program by filling out an application with your business details and website(s), or social media accounts.
There are no concrete numbers shared for these requirements, but I would estimate a minimum of 1,000 unique monthly visits to your site before applying.
One way that I have been able to successfully compete my way to over $1 million in affiliate commissions is by focusing on building real topical authority with niche authority websites. By building these brands over time, I'm able to establish authority and trust in certain niches, which further boosts my SEO over competitors. The #1 mistake most beginners make is not building any credible authority over time, and taking the easy route of just spamming affiliate links without a clear strategy.

My personal thoughts and experience with Ulta affiliate marketing
For bloggers and influencers in the beauty and fashion niches, I have to think Ulta is a strong recommend and perfect to offer their affiliate links throughout your content.
Ulta is a large and popular brand, with direct competition being Sephora.
Compared to Sephora, the 2% commission rate from Ulta is relatively low considering Sephora's ranges from 5% to 10%.
The low commission rate is the main downside to this program, especially considering the margins in the makeup industry.
However, the 30-day cookie window is good and in line with averages, if not slightly above.
I highly suggest you check out the recommendations below to find higher commission rates in the beauty niche.
