10. Twitch Affiliate Program

What is the difference between Twitch Affiliate vs Partner Program?

Starting off this list is the extremely popular "Twitch Affiliate Program".

It's important to note that this isn't like traditional affiliate programs on this list, instead it seems like Twitch's official name for their content creators and streamers who are not officially Partners.

There are certain requirements to join, but if you are fortunate enough to become a Twitch affiliate, you can begin monetizing your Twitch channel and earning revenue.

It's important to note that this is still very relevant to the traditional affiliate programs below, as a Twitch affiliate could use their channel to direct their viewers and followers to any of the gaming affiliate programs below, earning additional income.

My personal thoughts and experience with Gaming affiliate marketing

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, here are my thoughts on Gaming affiliate programs.

First off, I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the available options on this list, such as Nvidia and Logitech.

Gaming, at least when it comes to ad revenue, is typically one of the lowest-paying niches due to how saturated the market is.

Unlike the Health and Wellness niche valued at over $4 TRILLION, I tend to think that gaming is oversaturated to a point where your tiny slice might not be enough.

But after reviewing this list, I think if an entrepreneur / content creator was strategic about maximizing their affiliate links and ad revenue, then they can probably make a decent living.

I know from first-hand experience that being a content creator is all about diversifying your income streams, and most tend to just focus on ad revenue.

I think adding any and all relevant affiliate links, on top of taking sponsorships and brand deals, can really make a difference for gaming content creators and bloggers.
